Dr. Miner has been a faculty member in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Hennepin County since graduating residency in 1999. His focus has been on Emergency Medicine research over the past three decades, specializing in the fields of pain management and procedural sedation.
He also started the Research and Quality Improvement Internship Program in 2000, which mentors 70 undergraduate and medical school students every year and helps them build basic research foundational skills while helping the department gather data for all the ongoing studies.

Dr. Wyatt returned to Hennepin County Medical Center where he completed his residency after practicing Emergency Medicine in the community. He has significant expertise in administrative and clinical operations and is very active at the state and national levels in advocacy for the practice of emergency medicine.

Dr. Schrag returned to Hennepin County Medical Center where she completed her residency after practicing Emergency Medicine in the community. She has significant expertise in proper documentation and coding for health care providers as well as administrative and clinical operations.

Dr. Ho earned his medical doctorate in 1992 from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, CA. He completed an Emergency Medicine residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in 1995 and a Fellowship in Prehospital Care/Emergency Medical Services in 1996. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and is an Examiner for the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Paetow completed his Emergency Medicine Residency and a Fellowship in Medical Education and Simulation, both at Hennepin County Medical Center. After obtaining his Masters in Academic Medicine through the University of Southern California, he joined Hennepin County Medical Center as a faculty member in the Department of Emergency Medicine and is the Program Director for the Emergency Medicine Residency Program.
He is also the Medical Director for the Interdisciplinary Simulation and Education Center. His academic interests include graduate medical education, wellness, simulation, quality improvement, and cultural responsive healthcare.
Dr. Plummer has over 30 years of experience as a clinician and an educator in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Hennepin County. He has numerous teaching awards including the Ernest Ruiz Faculty Teaching Award and the HCMC Outstanding Teaching Award, and is a Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Minnesota. His clinical interests include point-of-care ultrasound in the ED.

Dr. Reardon completed his Emergency Medicine residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1997 and then rejoined the faculty at Hennepin in 1998. His areas of research interest include emergency airway management and emergency and critical care ultrasound. He is the Program Director for the Emergency Ultrasound fellowship at HCMC and is the course director for Ultrasound for Clinicians and a course instructor for The Difficult Airway Course.
Dr. Reardon is an accomplished author and editor having contributed to such medical textbooks as Roberts and Hedges’ Clinical Procedures in Emergency Medicine 6th Edition, Walls and Murphy’s Manual of Emergency Airway Management 4th Edition, Ma and Mateer’s Pocket Atlas of Emergency Ultrasound and Emergency Ultrasound 3rd Edition.

Dr. Zarzar completed her Emergency Medicine Residency in 2017 and a Fellowship in Medical Education and Simulation, both at Hennepin County Medical Center. After obtaining her Masters in Academic Medicine through the University of Southern California, she joined Hennepin County Medical Center as a faculty member in the Department of Emergency Medicine and served as one of the Associate Program Directors for the Emergency Medicine Residency Program. More recently she transitioned to current role as an Associate Medical Director for the Department of Emergency Medicine and is completing her MBA at the University of Minnesota.
